Suneet Varma wowed fashionistas during India Couture Week in New Dehli.
The eminent designer showcased his latest collection, entitled Amara, which means “light within.”
Beige and pinks were merged with gold and ivory hues in a riot of color. Shades of midnight blue and burgundy were also highlighted during his show earlier this week.
“‘Amara’ means the light within,” Varma, who worked for Yves Saint Laurent to master traditional techniques, told the Indo-Asian News Service.
“I have met a lot of people over the course of [my] work in this industry in the last 31 years. The more people I meet, the more girls I dress, [I see that the] light within everyone gets stronger. Some of them are aware of it, and a lot of [other] people don’t know this,” he added.
